论市场经济与集体主义的互利性

On the Mutual Benefit to Market Economy and Collectivism

发展市场经济是建设有中国特色社会主义的内在要求，发展集体主义是建设有中国特色社会主义的价值取向，二者不是不利而是互利的。发展市场经济能使集体主义得到展开，落到实处，发扬集体主义又能使市场经济得到保障，引向深入。相应地，我们对边疆民族地区、对青少年、对人与自然的关系就应该做且能做好一系列配套的工作。

The development of market economy is the prerequisite of building socialism with Chinese characteristics while the encouragement of collectivism is the standard of value for building socialism with Chinese characteristics. The mutual benefit is obvious. The development of market economy will help popularize collectivism while the encouragement of collectivism will guarantee a further development of market economy. If we have a good understanding of it, we will be able to do a better job for the youngsters and in the border and minority areas, and harmonize the relationship between man and nature.
