Problems in the Process of Urbanization in Shanghai Rural Areas -a case Analysis on China′s Rural Urbanization

界定了农村城市化的含义 ,指出了上海农村城市化存在的主要问题。在此基础上 ,指出了上海农村城市化除量的规定外 ,应强调质的规定性。论证了上海农村城市化不宜提小城镇为主的发展模式 ,而应提中小城市和中心镇为主的发展模式 ,上海农村城市化的发展战略不能采取 2 0 0多个均衡发展的战略 ,而应采取以新城和中心镇为重点的发展战略。

This essay gives the implication of the urbanization of countryside and explores the major problems in this process in Shanghai. Based on this, it further expounds and proves the necessity of regulating both quantiy and quality in the urbanization of Shanghai rural areas. Thus it is proved that in Shanghai this process shouldn't follow the city-centred developing modal but the town-centered modal and that the strategy of developing new-towns and centre-towns as the main aim should be adopted instead of the evenly-developing strategy for the development of the more than 200 towns in Shanghai.
