摘要
唐著名画家阎立本之郡望,史籍多达五说。迄今流行的"阎立本万年人说"源自两唐书的错误记载,实属以讹传讹。历年出土的唐代阎氏族人成员墓志俱载阎氏郡望为河南府,且与史载契合,证明阎立本实为河南人,千年讹误应予以纠正。
The native place of YAN Li-ben, the famous painter of the Tang Dynasty was labeled for up to five different regions in historic records. So far, the popular saying that ＂YAN Li-ben came from Wannian＂ was derived from THE NEW BOOK OF TANG and THE OLD BOOK OF TANG. It should be the wrong record circulating the erroneous reports. The unearthed epitaphs of Yan Clan in the Tang Dynasty recorded that the YAN family all came from Henan province and it coincided with the historic records, it testified that YAN Li-ben came from Henan Province. This millennium error can be corrected today.
