Wenchang Chicken is a good local breed in Hainan Province. The Wenchang Chicken industry as the advantage of animal husbandry industry and pillar industry of Hainan Province, is of great importance for driving the development of agricultural economy and the increase of farmers＇ income. The variety characteristics, development course and present situation of Wenchang Chicken were introduced, the advantages and existing problems of Wenchang Chicken Industry in Hainan Province were analyzed, and some suggestions for industrialization development of Wenchang Chicken were put forward.
