摘要
目的探讨抗糖尿病疫苗肽IA-2-P2与动脉粥样硬化的关系。方法将20只雄性新西兰大白兔分为3组:低脂对照组,高脂对照组,高脂IA-2-P2组,低脂组以普通饲料喂养,高脂组以高脂饲料喂养,持续17周。皮下免疫PBS或IA-2-P2,间隔4周共4次,期间监测血脂变化,观测期结束后测定主动脉动脉粥样硬化斑块面积。结果相较高脂对照组,高脂IA-2-P2组血脂水平无明显差异,动脉粥样硬化斑块面积略有增加,但无显著性差异。结论高脂饲料喂养下,IA-2-P2对动脉粥样硬化有一定的影响。
Objective To investigate the effects of an antidiabetic vaccine IA-2-P2on atherosclerosis.Methods Twenty male rabbits were divided into three groups,control,hypercholesterolemic,and hypercholesterolemic-IA-2-P2groups,receiving standard chow diet or high cholesterol diet for 17weeks.The rabbits were immunized with PBS or IA-2-P2emulsified in incomplete Freund Freund′s adjuvant 4times at 4-week intervals.Serum lipid profiles were determined.At the end of the study,aortic plaque formation was assessed.Results Compared with hypercholesterolemic group,there were no significant difference on lipid profiles in hypercholesterolemic-IA-2-P2group(P〉0.05).The increases in lesion areas in the aorta were higher in hypercholesterolemic-IA-2-P2than in hypercholesterolemic group,without significant difference(P〉0.05).Conclusion Our findings suggest that immunization with IA-2-P2have some effects on atherosclerosis.
