A Comparison of Technology Transfer Efficiency of Domestic and Foreign Universities:Based on the DEA-Malmquist Method

摘要 基于DEA-Malmquist方法测算了2004—2010年间我国及若干典型国家大学的专利技术转移效率。研究发现:我国高校技术转移效率与美、英大学仍有差距,但要高于日、西、意、澳、丹等国,说明现有"我国高校技术转移工作远逊于发达国家"的认识存在偏差;然而对于全要素生产率值排名末尾的问题,反映技术转移发展落后于所选发达国家,这主要是受到纯技术效率下滑的影响。 This research applies DEA-Malmquist Method to compare the efficiency of technology transfer of do-mestic and foreign universities using the data from survey reports of related technology transfer institutions. We find that domestic universities are less efficient than US and UK universities in technology transfer, but more effi-cient compare to universities in Japan, Spain, Italy, Australia and Denmark, which means the achievements of do-mestic universities in technology transfer may be underestimated in traditional view. However, the TFP value is lower than all compared developed countries that shows there exists problems in the development of technology transfer in domestic universities. It is mainly affected by the fall of pure technical efficiency.
