摘要
白居易喜爱自然事物,他晚年写作的大量诗词都说他所居住的履道池台是一个物我相交为友的乐园,表现了其审美活动具有的浓厚生态审美意味。然而,白居易对自然事物的审美欣赏是有差别的,他并未充分尊重物性,也未足够重视自然事物的生生之德。履道池台彰显出白居易对自然事物的圈占,而履道乐园对于自然事物来说其实只是一个假相,它的人工布置可能造成对物性的折损,而且它是一个不完整的、不稳定的生态空间。
Bai Juyi was fond of natural things, and most of his later poetic creation was about his residence, Lvdao Garden, where he befriended the natural surroundings. Such behavior exemplifies rich ecological-aesthetic implication. However, Bai Juyi displayed different attitude of appreciation when it comes to nature objects. He did not fully respect the material nature of things, and failed to give due attention to the life virtue of natural things. Lvdao Pond and Terrace ( Garden) symbolizes Bai Juyi's possession of natural things, yet it is only a fake substitute, because the artificial creation is detrimental to the material nature. In addition, the garden is an incomplete and unstable ecological space.
