出生体重与学龄期儿童超重/肥胖的关系

Relationship between birth weight and overweight/obesity in school-age children

目的探讨出生体重与学龄期儿童超重/肥胖的关系。方法于2012年10月至2013年3月期间选择242名7～16岁儿童进行调查,并测量身高和体重,采用Logistic回归方法分析出生体重与超重/肥胖的关系。结果研究对象中超重检出率为18.2%,肥胖检出率为16.1%。高出生体重者中儿童超重/肥胖比例(55.8%)显著高于低出生体重者(0)和正常出生体重者(29.9%),且差别有统计学意义(x～2=11.531,P=0.003)。与正常出生体重者比较,高出生体重者发生超重/肥胖风险显著增加(校正前OR=2.955,校正后OR=3.221,均P<0.05)。随着出生体重的增加,儿童身体质量指数也逐渐增加(β=1.567,P<0.05)。结果高出生体重是儿童超重/肥胖的危险因素。

Objective To explore the relationship between birth weight and overweight /obesity in school-age children .Methods Totally 242 children aged 7-16 years were surveyed during October 2012 to March 2013.Their height and weight were measured .The relationship between birth weight and overweight/obesity was analyzed by Logistic regression method .Results The detection rate of overweight and obesity was 18.2% and 16.1%, respectively.The proportion of overweight/obesity （55.8%） was higher in children with high birth weight than that in those with low birth weight （0） or normal birth weight （29.9%）, and the differences were significant （χ^2 =11.531, P=0.003）.Compared with the children with normal birth weight , the children with high birth weight had higher risk of overweight /obesity （OR=2.995, adjusted OR=3.221, both P〈0.05）.With the increasing of birth weight , the BMI of children increased gradually （β=1.567, P〈0.05）.Conclusion High birth weight is a risk factor of overweight /obesity in children.
