The principle and process of activated coke desulphurization technology are described. The technology was adapted to process conditions with complex component of flue gas and great fluctuation of gas flow. The process flow was simple and desulphurization efficiency exceeded 95%, both of by-products and waste were recycled and utilized. The characteristics of 3 generations of activated coke desulphurization technology developed by Shanghai Clear Science ＆ Technology Co. were analyzed in detail and developing direction of the activated coke desulphurization orocess in the future was oresented.
