摘要
旅游文本自身特有的功能决定了旅游文本英译明显的目的性,使用传统翻译评价标准衡量旅游文本英译质量难免失之偏颇。翻译质量评价的过程是一个价值判断过程,必须考虑行为主体自身的需要。就旅游文本英译研究而言,只有从委托人与译文读者需求出发,才能有效探讨其质量评价体系,从而使译本最大限度地在译语环境中实现其主导功能。
The unique functions of tourist advertising texts determine that the C - E translation of tourist advertising texts is a purposeful activity, so it is improper to apply the traditional criteria to translation assessment. The process of translation quality assessment is a process of value judgment, which involves the needs of the translation activities' subjects. Concerning the research of C - E translation of tourist advertising texts, only by departing from the needs of the clients and target readers can we effectively explore the systems of translation quality assessment and maximally fulfil the operative function in the target environment .
