摘要
四川民族地区小吃品种多样、特色鲜明,并蕴涵丰富的地方饮食文化内涵,但目前对四川民族地区小吃的英译研究和整理尚属不足,并在一定程度上制约了民族饮食文化的发展。文章从接受美学的角度,探讨四川民族地区特色小吃名英译策略,以读者为中心,充分考虑西方读者的接受能力,对源语名意义空白及未定性进行适当填补和一定程度的具体化。同时,对小吃名英译中常见的増译、归化及异化等方法进行具体的实例分析,探讨既照顾读者文化心理又能引起阅读兴趣、保留异域民族风味的翻译策略。
Sichuan ethnic regions 'snacks are various ,enjoying strong characteristics and containing rich ethnic food culture .However , the study and sorting on the snacks of Sichuan ethnic regions are not sufficient and therefore restrict the development of ethnic food culture in Sichuan .This thesis,from the perspective of recep-tion aesthetics ,discusses the snacks 'C-E translation strategies ,paying special attention to the readers 'reception competence,and filling some blanks and indeterminacies in the original text .Meanwhile,it also analyzes some translation cases with such often-used translation skills as amplification ,domestication and foreignization ,so as to find the appropriate translation strategies ,which can both give consideration to the readers 'cultural psychol-ogy and arouse the readers 'interest ,while maintaining the snacks 'ethnic flavor .
