摘要
纵观《道德经》,不难看出水之美接近于道之美,对道的描述其实就是对水之美的展开,老子建立起了一个以水为中心的意象世界,以水性来论人性,认为具有高尚审美品质的人应像水一样,应具有自然、淡泊、柔弱的品质,对水的追求,总体上反映了老子审美人格的终极理想,对后世艺术审美以及审美人格的形成具有不容忽视的奠基作用。
Throughout the Daodejing,it's not hard to see the beauty of water is close to the beauty of Tao,the beauty of the water is the spirit of Tao. Laozi had built up an image world which centered on water. Laozi discussed humanity by observing the water, considered people with noble virtues and high aspirations just like the water, tranquil, flexible and quiet. To pursue the spirit of water reflects aesthetic ideal of Laozi,and have a very far-reaching impact on development of aesthetic and art in later age.
