In order to implement effectively the measure of sergeant education reform, such as selecting the outstanding sergeants from the units as drillmasters in military sergeant academies, this article points out the necessity and feasibility of implementing the sergeant drillmaster system and probes into the running forms of the system. The author proposes some measures, including the department in charge perfecting the policy mechanism, the unit control strictly the standard for selection, the academies strengthening training and management, and etc., which have a certain instructive significance on the practice and exploration of sergeant drillmaster system.
