A Rose for Miss Emily is one of William Faulkner＇s masterpieces.Faulkner shows sufferings life in the history of the American South by shaping deformities perverted characters and fantastic storyline in his novels .He presents people＇s inner world in the period of social transformation with Gothic elements of theme , atmosphere and characters.The novel is a Gothic style novel .
