地方政府在城市化进程中文物保护的困境及路径思考——基于广州市的分析

Preservation of Historical Relics and Urbanization: Local Government's Dilemma and Way-out——A Case study of Guangzhou

大规模的城市建设给城市文物保护带来了很大的复杂性。地方政府必须处理好城市化和城市文物保护之间的关系。建国以来,我国地方政府对于城市文物保护取得了很好的发展,但依然存在保护意识欠缺、保护措施不完善、法制建设不健全等问题。本文针对地方政府在城市化过程中城市文物保护的困境,提出路径思考。

For a city, its urbanization is an inevitable development process, which would bring about large-scaled construction, as a result, its heritage preservation would face greater challenge. Although since the founding of the People's Re-public of China in 1949, local governments have already made much progress in protecting the cultural relics, there are still problems, such as lack of awareness, inadequate protective measures, imperfect construction of legal system. Therefore, in view of those problems, I propose some counter-measures.
