With the constant decreasing of commission level in securities industry, the securities companies have entered the era of survival of the fittest. Increasing revenue and reducing expenditure is not only the important handle for the securities companies to enhance competitive power in market, but also an important way to improve the economic benefits of the securities companies. This paper, starting with the securities companies to carry out the work of increasing revenue and reducing expenditure, analyzes the necessity of vigorously increasing revenue and reducing expenditure, and puts forward some operable suggestions in practice.
