摘要
对地方工科院校英语人才培养进行了总体分析,并提出了地方工科院校英语应用型人才培养目标和办学方向及对策——培养具有交际能力,有扎实的语言基础和一定的专业知识的应用型外语人才,立足地方,为地区经济的发展服务。
A general analysis of personnel cultivation for English majors in local engineering institutes is doneand the aim for applied talents cultivation and countermeasures are put forward-cultivating English talents withcommunicative competence, solid language basis and certain professional knowledge, finding their feet in thesociety and serving the local economic development.
