More attention should be focused on Myanmar government's concerns for domestic politics in order to analyze its foreign policy toward China.Based on an analysis of the internal political factors,the author raises a point opposed to the mainstream view.The paper indicates that geopolitical considerations only have a limited impact on Myanmar's China-related foreign policy,and domestic politics are playing a greater role.
