Public Diplomacy and the Theoretical Model of Intercultural Communication

跨文化传播中的认知模式、理解模式和行为模式三个理论模式可以为公共外交的开展注入另一种思考.本文将两个学科交叉性地融合在一起,通过比较分析的方法来丰富公共外交理论的内涵和适用范围.在此基础上,结合具体的案例以及国际、国内公共外交的现实,就构建公共外交的理念、渠道、思维、方法等方面提出相应的理论框架和建议.

There are three theoretical models in intercultural communication, namely the cognitive model, understanding model and behavioral model, which will shed new light on the practice of public diplomacy. The author integrates these two disciplines and uses a comparative method to enrich the meaning and scope of public diplomacy. Then on this basis, the author analyzes specific cases and actual practices, both at homeand abroad, to propose a theoretical framework and suggestion that will construct the theory, methodology and channels of public diplomacy.
