Based on the understanding and analysis of advantages and disadvantages of the cotton fiber and chemical filament, chemical fiber filament imitated cotton should overcome their own weak points by learning from each other＇s strong points to develop a new field under the condition of adapting new spinning technology and equipment so that new natural fiber and new chemical fiber continue expand the use scope. This paper summarizes and concludes advantages and disadvantages of the cotton fiber, chemical filament and cotton fiber fabrics and proposes development direction of chemical fiber filament imitated cotton.
