Social Mobilization of Fuzhou Women's Organizations during the Struggle against "Five Evils"

1952年,福州市开展大规模的"五反"斗争。福州市妇女组织积极响应号召,在党和政府的组织领导下,将党和政府的方针政策内化为妇女自身诉求,并凭借层级式的组织架构,对工属、女工及资产阶级妇女采取了会议动员、宣传动员、节日动员、诉苦动员等方式,富有特色的动员方式提升了社会动员的效率,使广大妇女在"五反"运动中迅速团结起来,助推福州市"五反"运动,促进了妇女自身的解放。

In 1925, a massive struggle against ＂five evils＂ was carried out in Fuzhou, which was calling for the participation of the whole city. Meanwhile, the women＇s organizations of Fuzhou actively respond to this claim. With the leadership of the party and government, the women＇s organizations of Fuzhou internalize the policies and regulations into their own demand during the period of the struggle against ＂five evils＂. Moreover, based on the hierarchical organizational structure, they also adopted meeting mobilization, publicity mobilization, festival mobilization and complaining mobilization, etc. for workers＇ family members, female workers and middle-class women, which raise the efficiency of social mobilization. Therefore, women quickly united themselves in the movement against ＂five evils＂, boosting the struggle and promoting their own liberation.
