在中日关系中,两国对历史的认识问题尤为突出。日本否认侵华战争的侵略性质并拒绝向中国人民认罪,其原因包括日本国内和国际因素。日本民族自身的性格特点导致其对战争责任和战后责任的认识存在局限,其脱亚入欧的思想也使得日本难以承担历史责任。此外,冷战后国际环境的变化导致美国的远东政策转变,中国建国后对日本的态度等也导致日本战后认罪态度存在认知局限。

The understanding of the bilateral history is a particularly prominent problem in the Sino- Japanese relations. Japan denies the invasion nature of the war of aggression against China and refuses to plead guilty to China people, the reasons for which involve both Japan＇s domestic and international factors. The personality characteristics of the Japanese nation lead to their ideological limitations of the understanding of the responsibility for the war and their postwar liability. Besides, the thought of Departing from Asia for Europe also makes Japan difficult to shoulder the historical responsibility. In addition, the change of the international environment after the cold war has led to the shift of America＇s Far East policies and China＇s attitude towards Japan after the founding of the PRC has also led to the cognitive limitations of post-war Japan＇ s confession attitude.
