This paper mainly discuss several problems in four aspects： the definition of library space, the library building and outer space, interior design and layout plan of library space, and how to plan and use the psychical library space better. At the end of the paper, we come to a summary that more attention should be paid to library space in the digital age. We should think how to utilize library physical space, communal space.learning spaces,research space, service space,socializing space and computer lab.classroom in order to satisfy different patrons space needs. We need also make innovations to make library space a better place for library services.
