摘要
可供性提取是涉身认知语言理解索引假设模型所假定的一个心理活动过程。本研究选取25名英语专业研究生为受试,采用2×2双因素重复测量设计,基于EPrime真假词判断反应时范式,考察他们汉、英话语理解中可供性提取的心理现实性及提取效率上的差异,结果发现:(1)可供性提取过程,对于中国英语专业研究生汉、英两种语言的理解均具有心理现实性;(2)中国英语专业研究生在理解汉、英两种语言时,在可供性提取上表现出明显的母语优势效应。
Affordance derivation(AD)is a core psychological operation in language comprehension as posited by the Embodied Cognition Theory-based Indexical Hypothesis.By adopting a 2×2repeated measures design,making use of E-Prime Lexical Decision Paradigm,and recruiting 25English postgraduates as subjects,the present study explored whether AD is a psychologically real process for Chinese EFL postgraduates in their comprehension of both Chinese and English.It also explored the differences in their way of deriving affordances in decoding the two languages.The results indicate that:(1)AD is psychologically real in the subjectscomprehension of both languages;(2)AD is more efficient in their comprehension of Chinese than of English,showing an obvious native language superiority effect.
