EPDM改性对其绝热材料性能的影响 被引量:8

Effects of modification of ethylene-propylene-diene monomers on performances of their insulations

摘要 采用双螺杆挤出技术对三元乙丙(EPDM)橡胶进行了挤出反应改性,将改性的EPDM与未改性EPDM并用,并配合其他功能助剂和填料,研制了一类与铝和钢等金属材料具有良好粘接性能的固体火箭发动机的内绝热层材料。实验研究了改性EPDM用量对绝热层的力学性能、烧蚀性能和粘接性能的影响。结果表明,当改性EPDM橡胶用量为15份时,绝热层的力学性能、烧蚀性能和金属的粘接性能达到最佳;实验还对热压粘接硫化工艺进行了改进,以进一步提高了绝热材料与金属粘接性能;其中,绝热材料材料与金属铝和45#钢的粘接强度分别为6.11 MPa和7.38 MPa,而且粘接的破坏形式为绝热材料内聚破坏。 A new EPDM insulation with excellent adhesion properties for solid rocket motors was fabricated based on modification of EPDM rubber by means of double screw extrusion processes,and improved EPDM and non-improved EPDM was simultaneously applied,at the same time several function fillers were added in order to enhance their mechanical properties and improve adhesion properties. Effects of the amount of modified EPDM rubber on the mechanical properties,ablative performance and adhesive properties of the insulations were investigated. Results show that the insulation presents excellent mechanical properties,ablative properties and adhesive properties when the amount of modified EPDM is 15 phr. Adhesion properties between the insulations with metal materials can also be improved through optimization of adhesion processes. For instance,shear strength for the insulators with sheets of alumina and 45#steel is 6. 11 MPa and 7. 38 MPa respectively,through further improving vulcanization and hot pressing processes. The patterns of adhesive failure between the insulators and metals exhibits cohesive failure.
