日本京都服饰文化研究所(KCI)的收藏及研究

文章旨在介绍研究鲜为国人所知的日本京都服饰文化研究所。从该所组建缘起,藏品收购与保护,主题展览及全球推广,科研及普教四个方面,对该研究机构的运营及作用进行了分析研究。作为世界一流的近代服装收藏和研究机构,日本京都服饰文化研究所通过多年的努力,不仅使得日本国人及服装行业得以了解近代欧美服装的发展,也在各种展览及活动中推广了日本本土服饰文化,实现了其创办之初"了解过去,洞悉未来"的使命。也是我国服装研究机构及教育行业应以借鉴的案例。

This article aims to introduce the studying of lesser-known Kyoto Costume Institute. The analysis of the operations and the role of these research institutions cover four parts from the origin of foundation, collections acquisition and protection, thematic exhibitions and global marketing, research and general education. As a world-class collection of modern clothing and research institutions, via years of efforts, Kyoto Costume Institute is not only making the Japanese people and the apparel industry to understand the development of modern times European and American clothing, but also promotes the Japanese domestic costumes culture in various exhibitions and events. The mission of ＂understanding of the past, insight into the future＂ in the beginning of its foundation thus has been achieved. This also could be what our garment industry research and education institutions should learn from this case.
