With the rapid growth of the economy in China, the owner makes higher requirements about the quality of railway transport service. The container transportation has become an important part of railway freight business. This paper takes Hohhot Railway Bureau container station as object, studies on the current problems, analyzes the influence factor of container transport development. With the economic development and characteristics of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, the recommendations on construction planning of Hohhot Railway Bureau container station are proposed.
