Hemocidins:a new type of antimicrobial peptides derived from hemoproteins

摘要 抗菌肽是一类具有抗菌活性的多肽,广泛存在于原核生物和真核生物体内,是生物体先天性免疫的重要组成部分,具有广谱抗菌性、作用迅速、不易产生耐药性等优点。源于血红素蛋白的抗菌肽统称为hemocidins,生物体新陈代谢即可产生hemocidins,它是一种新型的内源性抗菌肽。本文对近年来hemocidins在生物体内外的抗菌研究进展和抗菌机制进行了阐述,并分析了其应用前景。 Antimicrobial peptides are a class of peptides that have antibacterial activity. They are important components of natural immunity and can be found in the prokaryotes and the eukaryotes. In addition, antimicrobial peptides have the advantages of broad-spectrum activity, fast action and little drug resistance. Hemocidins derived from hemoproteins is a new kind of endogenous peptides which could be produced by organism metabolism. The aim of this paper was to review its development of antibacterial activity ia vivo and in vitro in recent years. The relevant mechanism and the application prospect were also introduced.
