从交际翻译视角看汉语网络语言的英译

On Translation of Chinese Internet Slang to English from the Perspective of Communicative Translation

汉语在当今世界里发挥着越来越重要的影响,而网络语言作为颇具影响力的一种语言形式,对国人的表达方式可谓潜移默化,同时也影响着世界各国对汉语言的理解与接受。文章将从交际翻译理论的视角讨论时下热门的汉语网络语言的英译,对现有的译文进行对比分析,并针对部分汉语网络语言给出新的译文,力求使其译文尽可能地表达出与汉语相同的"韵味",使目的语读者能够更好地了解中国文化及其语言的魅力。

Nowadays Chinese language becomes more and more influential throughout the world. Chinese In- ternet slang, as a specific kind of language form with a great impact on the idiomatic usage of the traditional Chinese language, is simultaneously generating a conspicuous impact on and gradually incorporated into lan- guages of other nations. This paper aims to discuss and analyze, from the perspective of communicative trans- lation, the currently hot Chinese Internet slangs. Firstly, the previous versions of translation are to be dis- cussed and compared in terms of appropriateness; secondly, some of the new versions of translation related with certain words or phrases are to be analyzed and proposed for the purpose of delivering the most approxi- mate flavor and tone as the original ones to the target readers so as to make the non-native Chinese speakers get further insight into Chinese culture and its glamorous language.
