摘要
大学教授作为专家与知识分子,随着西方大学体制的引入而逐渐产生。专家的出现应被置放在一个有机的全球网络中去思考,而不是简单分析认为专家和专业知识是从"西方"向"东方"的扩散。近代以降,受过教育且"无所依附"的读书人努力在变动的社会中寻找自己的角色和位置,他们成为最有热情推动社会变革的行动者。转型时代的大学教授/知识分子,在社会上游离无根,在政治乃至经济上是边缘人物,在文化上却是影响极大的精英阶层。
As experts and intellectuals,university professors gradually came into being with the introduction of western university system. The appearance of experts should be taken into consideration in an organic global network. University professors /intellectuals are marginalized in politics or economy in the society,but they are social elites with great influence in culture.
