字更新写回型Cache的设计

DESIGN OF WORD-REPLACEMENT WRITE-BACK CACHE

为减少写回型 Cache的总线通信量及总线访问时间 ,本文提出了以字为单位进行数据更新的 Cache管理方式 ,给出了这种管理方式的组成原理、管理算法和工作流程 ,并通过模拟分析指出这种方式和以块为单位进行写回的Cache相比较 。

In order to reduce bus traffic and delay of memory accesses, this paper presents a new method of word replacement for write back cache management. The principle, algorithm and work flow of this method have been introduced in this paper. The simulation analysis shows that, comparing with the block write back cache, the new method can greatly reduce bus traffic and the times of memory accesses.
