摘要
网络技术的发展和 PC性能的迅速提高 ,使 PC机群 (PC Cluster)技术成为一个研究热点 .在构建机群时需要解决的一个问题是消除文件系统管理的瓶颈 .Berkeley NOW的 x FS通过将传统服务器的功能分布到整个系统中来提高系统的性能、有效性和可扩展性 .但在 x FS中 ,缺乏对系统动态配置问题的处理 ,而且 x FS中的协作高速缓存的管理算法也有待进一步改进 .在本文中 ,我们将提出一种设计方案 ,使系统能针对当前系统中物理结点的数量自动调整功能的分配 ;
In recent years, the speed of network and the performance of PC both increase quickly. Using high performance PCs connected by fast network to build a cluster becomes a research hotspot. An important issue in such a system is to eliminate the bottleneck of file system management. The xFS of Berkeley NOW increase systems performance, availability and scalability by spreading the service of traditional file sever to the whole system. But xFS did not handle the problem of reconfiguration. And its cooperative cache management algorithm can be enhanced. In this paper, we first provide a scheme that can adapt quickly and automatically to the number of nodes online, then we will introduce the intend set which helps to replace pages intelligently.
