Methods and Tools to Examine Multicast Traffic Performance

1.引言 无论是从科学研究，还是从商业开发的角度来看，网络性能评测的研究已逐渐成为一个热点领域。但是直到现在，研究重点一直是单播通讯，组播通讯性能评测的研究相对比较少。虽然二者有许多共性，然而由于组播通讯语义与单播通讯的根本不同，组播通讯性能的评测需要不同的工具和策略。

In order to better design various kinds of multicast application.improve the performance of multicast traffic, learn more about the effect which is made by network flow control mechanisms, we have to monitor and analyze the process of multicast sessions. Based on the insight,we introduce some important parameters about multicast performance ,and give examples and ways for examining the performance ,and introduce some useful tools.
