摘要
企业间合作网络的小世界性能提高信息流通速度和知识转移效率,进而提升企业创新能力。基于中国汽车行业企业间联盟网络,运用负二项回归模型分析网络集聚系数与平均路径长度对企业创新能力的影响。实证结果显示,较短的平均路径长度显著提高企业创新产出绩效,而网络集聚系数对企业创新产出呈倒U型影响,并对网络距离影响企业创新能力呈现倒U型调节效应。
Inter-firm collaboration network's small-world characteristics have been recognized to accelerate the flow of infor-mation and improve knowledge transfer efficiency theoretically,and then promote firm creativity,yet empirical studies and evidence in this regard remain scarce.We construct inter-firm alliance networks in Chinese auto industry,and use negative binomial regression to study the impact of clustering coefficient and average path length on firm innovation capability.The results demonstrated that the shorter average path length will significantly improve innovative output,but the impact of clustering coefficient on innovation capability in an inverted-U curvilinear way,and network clustering coefficient also mod-erates the effect of average path length on firm innovative output in an inverted-U curvilinear way.These conclusions will provide new scientific basis for firms to develop alliance activities and for relevant government departments to make alli-ance policies.
