海外基金会支持中国图书馆发展的模式研究--案例与思考

Research on t he Patterns of the Overseas Foundation Supporting Chinese Libraries' Development:Cases and Reflection

海外基金会作为一支重要的社会力量对中国图书馆事业的支持始于20世纪初。当前美国基金会支持中国图书馆事业的运行模式主要有三种形式:基金会独立办馆模式、基金会与其他机构合作办馆以及志愿者支持模式。论文以海外中国教育基金会以及爱心传递慈善基金会的图书馆项目为例,分析其项目运作模式与经费支出状况,同时总结出美国基金会支持中国图书馆事业的特点。

Being an important social power supporting Chinese Libraries, overseas foundation dated from the beginning of the 20th century. Today, American Foundation has three patterns when they support Chinese libraries--supporting libraries independently, supporting libraries cooperated with other organizations, and volunteers supporting. Taking Overseas China Education Foundation＇s library program and Pass Love Charity Foundation＇s library program as examples, this paper analyzes their programs＇ operation modes and expenditure, sums up the features of American Foundation supporting Chinese libraries＇ development.
