河南省本科院校教学名师的群体特征

Group Characteristics of Prestigious Teachers in Henan College and University

河南省本科院校教学名师的群体特征是"三高",即年龄比较高,平均年龄在50岁左右;男性比例高,约占七成以上;学历层次高,接近半数都是博士研究生毕业。究其形成原因就在于教学名师的成就需要长期的积累,教书育人应持之以恒;受传统性别文化的负面影响,巾帼建功需付出更多;学历与素质息息相关,学高与德高相得益彰。基于对教学名师群体特征的正确认识,高校加强教师队伍建设应把理想信念作为核心内容,要以青年教师为重点,要着力克服女教师发展的障碍因素,把提高教师任职学历标准作为有效途径。此外,还应加大对教学名师的宣传力度。

According to the statistics, there are ＂three high＂ concerning characteristics prestigious college teachers in Henan Province , ie, the age is relatively high , with an average age of about 50 years old ; higher proportion of males , accounting for about 70% ; higher education levels , nearly half of all doctoral graduate. From this research, we consider that the following reasons are responsible for it.. their achievements need accumulation and sustained teaching in their life; being affected by traditional gender culture, female teachers are supposed to work harder to achieve success; finally, qualification and quality are closely related and high academic qualification complements high morality perfectly. Based on these findings, university should take ideal and belief as a core to strengthen the construction of teachers , especially for young teachers; try to overcome obstacles to female teachers development, the academic standard of teachers should be raised in an effective way. Furthermore, the publicity of prestigious teachers should be intensified.
