BJP has won the national election and returned to power after ten years. The new Prime Minister Modi will usher in a new era in India' s contemporary history. As concepts of governance, the new government will take economic revival as a goal,appeasement of sectarian conflicts and other social contradictions as a major task, and honest governance as means. In diplomacy,the new government will try hard to improve relations with its neighbors, strengthen its relations with East Asia, Russia, China and the U.S., upgrade India' s strategic position in the world,and play a bigger role in international arena.
