胡怀琛与新旧融合的新诗文体观

摘要 二十世纪20年代新诗发轫期,文人学者胡怀琛从理论、批评和创作等方面倡导并践行新旧融合的新诗文体观。胡怀琛将"偏于情"与"能唱"两条视为新诗的本体规定,意在强调新诗的情感与形式两重"诗美"内质。胡怀琛关注的核心问题不是诗的新旧,而是诗的好坏,他提出"新派诗"的理论构想,目的是吸纳新旧两种诗体的优长,同时革除二者的弊端。胡怀琛批改胡适的《尝试集》,意在以"批评"代"理论",从文本细微处打磨新诗艺术。胡怀琛比激进与保守两派学人更能理性看待新旧诗体的赓续嬗变问题,从而为嗣后的新诗文体建设提供方向性启示。 During the initiation of modem poetry in the 20th century 20s, Hu Huaichen, as a famous writer and scholar, has ad- vocated and practised the style of modem poetry with combination of the old and new from the perspectives of theory, criticism and creation and so on. Hu Huaichen regards "lay particular stress on emotion" and "can sing" as ontology of the new rules, intending to emphasize emotion and form as "poetic beauty" of the new literary essence. Hu Huaichen's main concern is not the old and new, but the stand or fall of poem. The purpose he proposed a theory of "new poetry" is to make the most of the advantage and expel the drawbacks of the old and new. Hu Huaichen criticized the Collection of Experimental Writing by Hu Shi and changed poems for him, in order to surrogate "theory" to "criticism" and grind new poetry art from text fine point. Hu Huaichen views the evolution problems of the old and new poetry more rationally than the radical and the conservative scholars, which provide the direction for the stylistic construction of new poetry of later.
