20世纪 5 0年代和 6 0年代 ,是全球地震矩的大释放阶段。从 6 0～ 80年代地震矩释放速率呈下降的趋势。 90年代后 ,地震矩释放速率有所回升。从 5 0～ 80年代 ,中国大陆及东半球的地震矩释放速率有明显的下降趋势。一次 9级左右地震的成丛是 2 0世纪地震活动的明显特点。
From 1950s to 1960s,it was a period of large amount of seismic moment release in the world.The rate of seismic moment release had decreased during the period between 1960s and 1980s.Since 1990s,the rate of seismic moment release has increased to some extent.From 1950s to 1980s,there was an obvious decreasing trend in the rate of seismic moment release in Chinese mainland and the Eastern Hemisphere.The global seismicity of the 20th century is obviously characterized by a cluster of earthquakes with magnitude around 9.
