20 0 0年上半年全球共发生 MW≥ 6 .5地震 1 4次。其中 MW≥ 7.0地震 7次 ;浅源地震 1 0次 ;中源地震 3次 ;深源地震 1次。浅源大地震发生的区域集中于印度尼西亚和南印度洋地区。 6月份发生的地震所释放的地震矩占上半年全球所有地震释放的地震矩的一大半。

During the first half of the year 2000,there were 14 earthquakes of M W≥6 5 occurring in the world, including 7 earthquakes of M W≥7 0;10 shallow focus earthquakes;3 intermediate focus earthquakes; one deep focus earthquake.The great shallow focus earthquakes were centred in Indonesia and the South Indian Ocean area.The earthquakes occurring in June released more than half of the seismic moments that released by all earthquqkes occurring in the world in the first half of the year 2000.
