Generalized technical progress in a macroeconomic system is classified into structural improvement type, enlarged scale type, advanced technology type and educational investment type of technical progress. The measurement of structural improvement type of technical progress is also studied on the premise that we take the optimal distribution of input factors into consideration. And the measurement is applied to economics decision of the macroeconomic system.
