Brief Talk of the Relation between Interior Furnishing Art and Modern Interior Design

在经历了工业革命和发展工业化大生产的过程后,人们用自己的智慧和双手创建了高度发达的当代文明。然而,过量工业化的代价正瓦解着人类赖以生存的基础,人们正生活在一种庞大冷漠的工业世纪的人造环境中。弄清室内陈设与室内设计的关系使人们重新认识和设计我们的室内环境,并借助室内环境的改善,以冲淡和柔化伴随着工业文明而带来的冷酷感。

Through the industrial revolution and developing industrialized production, people used their own wisdom and hands to create a highly developed contemporary civilization. However, the price of over-industrialization is disintegrating the base on which humanity relies to live. People are living in a man-made environment in the huge but cold industrialized century. To understand the relation between interior furnishing and interior design helps people realize and design our interior environment again, also with the aid of improvement of environment, the coldness which the industrial civilization bring us would be dimmed and softened.
