摘要
日本人起初不欢迎铁路 ,视铁路为“怪物” ,群起反对 ,因此日本铁路的诞生历经曲折 ,并不顺利。京滨铁路是日本第一条铁路 ,该铁路的建成改变了日本人对铁路的错误观念 ,使其接受了铁路这一新生事物。此外 ,该铁路的建成积累了宝贵的筑路经验 ,培养了一批铁路建设人才 ,为日本铁路事业的进一步发展奠定了基础 ,并对沿线地区资源的开发、产品的输送、原料的购销产生了积极影响 。
Railways were not originally popular in Japan,even regarded as a “monster'.People rose in a mass to struggle against them.Accordingly, railways were slow in coming in Japan.The To kyo-Yokohama Railway Line,the first Japanese railway,corrected the Japanese misconception about railways.Railways were acceptd as a new invention by the Japanese.In addition,owing to the completion of the T-Y Railway Line,valuable experience of railway construction was accumulated,a number of qualified railway construction personnel were trained,a foundation was laid for the further development of Japanese railways.It also had a positive effect,in the area along the line,on the development of the natural resources,the transportation of products,and the sales and purchases of raw materials.Furthermore,it has led to the changes in Japanese living habits and customs.
