A Verbatim Transcription of Confidential Documents of Yunnan, the earliest compilation of archive documents, is the emperor's commanding records of the early Ming Dynasty. It reflects the management and administration after the Ming Dynasty suppressed Yunnan, and consists of much important historical material for the study of the whole province at that time, and is of great value to the archives and compilation research as well.
