我国成人高等教育发展历程及思考

A Retrospect of the Development of High Adult Education in China

我国成人高等教育肇始于 2 0世纪初 ,经历了正式创建 (建国至 196 6年 )、停顿 (“文革”十年 )、恢复 ( 1977年至1984年 )、改革发展 ( 1985年至 1991年 )、大力发展 ( 1992年至今 )这几个主要时期。这一发展历程给了我们许多启示 :成人高教在我国的产生和发展 ,特别是改革开放以来的迅猛发展 ,是经济社会发展的必然产物而非权宜之计 ;特色和质量是成人高教得以生存和发展的关键 ,也是其在进一步的发展过程中要始终高高举起的两面大旗 ;当前 ,应在结构体系、办学体制。

Ever since its initiation in the beginning of the 20th century,China's high adult education has undergone drastic changes.The development falls into five main stages:the period of official establishment from 1949 to 1966;the period of suspension during the decade of Cultural Revolution;the period of restoration between 1977 and 1984,the period of reformation from 1985 to 1991,and the period of rapid growth since 1992.This experience brings a great deel of enlightenment.Firstly,its rise and development,especially the rapid growth after the implementation of reform and opening ploicy,is not a makeshift measure of the government,but a natural result of the changes of soical economy;Secondly,quality and characteristics should be the two banners to be held high consistently for survival and further development;Thirdly,new approaches should be adopted with reforms in the system of organization,structure and teaching methodology so as to achieve a steady development under the current circumstances of the new century.
