Leaders of University Should Make Efforts to Be Soialist Statesmen and Educationists

从中国社会主义革命和建设的历史和现状、中国高等教育的实践和发展 ,分析了当前形势下高等教育的任务、地位 ,论证了高校领导成为社会主义政治家。

Based on the history and present situation of the socialist revolution and construction in China, and based on the practice and the development of the high education in China,the paper analyges the task and status of high education under the current situation. In the light of it the necessity of being a socialist statesman and educationist for the leader of university is proved.
