The essay analyzes the developing tract of quantitative research in the western psychology from the methodological view-point of scientific philosophy. It is considered that quantitative research makes its contributions to the western psychology and highlights its methodological predicament. This predicamnt shows the following points: ①the restorationalism of atomism; ②the objective false-appearance of operationalism; ③the neutral value of the objectivism; ④the lack of meaning of reduction.
