The TAAB macrocyclic ligand has a saddle-shaped appearance,the ruthenium(Ⅱ) is located on the plane of the four nitrogen atoms of the TAAB with the two perpendicular Ru(Ⅱ)-O bonds coordinated to the DMF molecules.
