The title complex C_(20)H_(28)C;_2O_2S_2Sn is of monoclinic system space group P2_1/a with its cell parameters:a=16.741 (4), b=11.942(4), c=24. 747(3) A, β= 103. 99(1)°, V=4800. 85 A￣3, Z=8, M_r=554. 17, D_x=1. 533 g/cm￣3, μ(MoKa)= 14. 7 cm￣(-1). The structure was refined to an R of 0.054 and R_w of 0. 060 for 3472 unique diffraction data [I≥3σ(I)]. The unique tin atom has a distorted octahedral coordination geometry. The crystal structure shows that there are two independent chains of each other in every asymmetry unit.
