摘要
１９９７年在中国农业大学科学园区对建植四年的草地早熟禾草坪进行覆土厚度对草坪质量指标影响的实验。结果表明，与未覆土的对照相比，覆土厚度１ｃｍ、１．５ｃｍ和２ｃｍ的各处理均能增加草地早熟禾草坪的生长速度。覆土刺激了草地早熟禾分蘖的产生，生长前期效果明显，但生长后期效果不明显。从草地颜色和整齐度评定草地早熟禾的美观程度，应以覆土１．５ｃｍ厚为好。覆土还可抑制生殖枝的形成。覆土对草地早熟禾当年地下生物量的影响在各处理及对照间均不显著（Ｐ＞０．０５）。
Effects of mulching thickness on the quality of kentucky bluegrass turf established were studied. The mulching thickness were 1cm, 1.5cm and 2cm. Compared with the control, the results showed that turf grasses growth rate could be increased by mulching treatmemt. The mulching treatments could stimulate tiller increase during early growth season. Good turf greeness and uniformity could be obtained by mulching thickness of 1.5cm. Mulching could decrease the amount of reproductive tillers. There were no significant difference of underground biomass between control and mulching thickness treatments and between thickness treatments.
